Great app for resizing and watermarking!

I was looking for an app to resize and watermark my photos at the same time for saving on the web, and found this great app. It has lots of options and flexibility for resizing and watermarking, and you can set up presets. The interface looks nice and works well. This app makes creating and saving low resolution files for online sharing easy! I highly recommend it.

Works well

Compresses photos but makes copies or duplicates . Wish it had an easy way to delete duplicates

Great Little Helper

This is exactly what I was searching for.

Good start

Ive been looking for an app that could handle resizing of images in a nice way. This app is promising, though it crashed on my first image re-size. Also, would prefer to be able to re-size images as a percentage of original and not just a certain size (based on what… width? How does it handle batch resizes on images that are landscape and portrait..) I hope to see improvement with this app, at a $2 "discount" its about $1 more than I would expect to pay for something of this capability.

Great start

A few ideas... I need to set a different width. Seems like you have defined widths. Cropping on a height would make this a ten!!! For example... Resize to 975 wide... Crop and allow to slide where but 350 high. Keep up the great work

So close to perfect.

I will happily give this five stars if they can pull off letting me choose a more specific width. This app is pretty spectacular so far. Would also like to be able to save to a separate folder.

Clean solution for resizing

The simplicity of the interface is appreciated. It has just enough controls to do the job, and keep everything on one screen.

Yay! Solution to my iPages file size problem

I create a lot of photo heavy iPages documents on my iPad and was getting irritated that there was no easy way to reduce file size so the resulting document wasnt enormous. I tried another photo file sizing app, but it didnt easily identify which photo had been shrunk (no command I on the iPad). This app can do multiple photos and saves the resulting modified photos to a separate album! Awesome!

Essential...though improvement needed

I am unable to do without this app. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I think it works with decent speed and execution: once I can get it up and running.... Two Major Areas where Improvements Needed: 1. Titles under the albums is a no brainer...why the heck is this not even at the very least an option. 2. To get running requires me to keep opening the app repetitively on a varying number of attempts until it stays open...This seems to fluctuate depending on the number of recently taken pictures added in the camera roll from the last time this app had been open, and the number of background apps you have running. Probably a fault low RAM availability with 512mB in every tablet but the Retina with 1gB. Needs a work around in the programing none the less, it is just an unacceptable fustration.

Interface needs work

When you open the app, your photos are grouped in sets that make no sense. You have to go through a few of them to find what you need. It should just mimic the iOS photo sets. Once you have resized, there is no clear way to tell if it worked because it doesnt display actual photo sizes when you select a photo. When you preview a photo, it is inexplicably tiny. There is no way to tell if thumbs have landscape or portrait orientation, so you have to preview each before resizing.

Essential app for blogging

This is the only app I could find that reduced the image size while also adjusting jpeg quality at the same time. When writing a blog, its essential to not upload 3 Mbyte images, especially when traveling using cellphone towers. At 640 x 480 and 50% quality, I get 50Kb to 80Kb images that look good when displayed on the screen There is always room for improvement: 1 - Display the album names 2 - Display the final picture size in Kbytes when Reduce has completed using the jpeg quality setting. Great app, keep up the good work!

Does not work

Bought to resize images for apps such as Instagram to change pics from rectangles to square without cropping.. No directions or help on site. No contacts for developer. Waste of money.

Needs Improvement

This app has no instructions. After selecting photos and resizing, duplicates appear. There is no way to tell which one was reduced. It would be helpful if the the file sizes were indicated. Only at that point would you be able to move them manually into a new album. Not worth the .99 cents at this point. Also no way to email the developer to suggest improvements. 1 star.

WASTE OF MONEY

It doesnt actually resize. It just gives you a height sugestion then blurs the photo. Super lame.

Thanks

Does exactly what its supposed to do. Makes you wonder why it isnt a default option

What the f

How do you resize?

Seems to work

Seems to work and puts the resized images in a new folder.

Very useful for reducing scanned jpgs

I use this app at least 3-4 times a week. I scan in docs that thru iPad will only upload/scan as pix. I can import the, then reduce the size using this APPL. And then convert to a PDF ... Enabling me to email 25 or more pgs where before without reduce...I could only send 1 at a time! Thank you.

Almost Perfect

Easy to use. I like that I can batch process images and save my preferred settings. Two suggested improvements: show the names of photo albums when selecting images to resize and allow us to specify a new folder put them in, instead of the default Camera Roll.

Just OK

Looking for a way to resize a number of images at once on the iPad, I tried this app. Though it does the resize routine, the program does not give the option to place the newly reduced images in a separate file which is a must when dealing with more than a few images. Neither does the program make any differentiation between old and new images except by watermarking the new image. Watermarking isnt always acceptable. Finally, after trying to contact the developer about work arounds for these problems, I just gave up.
