Reduce - Batch Resize Images and Photos for iPhone & iPad App Reviews

Great tool for reducing picture size!

I do a lot of posting pictures on forums. Needless to say, you do not want to put large pictures on forums. I set my picture up with 500 pixels. I select the number of pictures I want to resize and like magic, does the entire batch. It places the new pictures on your camera roll and then a separate reduced area, too. How convenient! I am not sure why some of the comments were not stellar, positive comments. Great app well worth the price.

Awesome App, but...

This is an awesome app. the only issue I have is that you can only put watermark in one of the four corners. please add ability to place watermark in top / bottom center please. This app is a must for anyone generating media content as it adds a layer of protection from poachers that will not give you proper credit for your photos. another cool feature would be the ability to encode metadata info into resized images.

Needs update.

Has not been updated in nearly a year. As one user said, when you open the app, the photos appear in a random order - that makes no logical sense. Locating photos by the choosing the camera roll or specific album would be a giant step forward. Also would be great if there were an option to REPLACE original photo. If you cant, becomes horribly confusing to choose which photo you want.

Disappointing

When you are choosing the phot to reduce, all your photos come up in random order, not by album. There is no way to tell if the original photo will be saved or supplanted by the reduced size one. No help either.

Abandonware. Dont bother with it.

Great features- that dont work anymore- the developer abandoned it. Multiple incompatibilities and bugs with later hardware and OS versions. No updates in over 2 1/2 years. No response to requests for info. Used to be the best, but now its almost unusable. What a shame.

Works Perfectly on iOS 9.21

I was hesitant to try the app (even though it is presently free) because the most recent reviews are terrible and one-star ratings freak me out; but then I thought: "Hey, its free; why not?" So I put it to the test using my iPad Mini 2 and after it started up, I selected my photo directory from the grid, selected the images I wanted to resize, set the size and quality preferences to my liking and pressed go! Presto! One by one they all processed and now reside at the top of my photo album. :-) Very cool. Since I happened upon this when it was free is delightful for me, but it also means the price of the app eludes me. If its less than $5 and you ned to do batch resizing, is is a must have. If it costs more? well, how much batch resizing do you really need to do? Even if its a once in a while occurrence this may just be well worth its price in time savings alone.

Good, not great. But prob best in its category.

Seems theres few batch resizers around, so of those available, this is the best option. Major Con: theres no labels for dates of photos. When selecting the pics to resize, it sorts it by date last taken, first. Theres no other way to sort the pic. So if you happen to take multiple pics on various dates, the sorter just shows the photos with no way of knowing when it was taken. Another con: size limitations. The max is 2048. So for iPhone 6S+ users, there is a drastic loss of image quality and image size.

Ms

Not working and it was not free. No photos show up, the app at first worked, once for a few shots then quit. Give me my money.
